Dr. Andrea Durand
Durand Healing and Wellness Center
Dr. Andrea Durand is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Doctor of Behavioral Health who attained all her degrees from Arizona State University. Her doctoral research and dissertation centered around the treatment of chronic pain and long-term opiate use. With extensive experience in various mental health settings, including outpatient treatment centers, inpatient behavioral health and physical health hospitals, intensive outpatient programs, home health, transitional care teams, and primary care clinics, Dr. Durand identified a significant communication gap between medical and mental health providers during her tenure in both outpatient and inpatient healthcare settings. This realization fueled her passion for integrating physical and behavioral health, adopting a holistic approach to mental health treatment. In her role as a Director of Behavioral Health, Dr. Durand pioneered integrated behavioral health programs for several primary care clinics in Arizona. Drawing on her diverse healthcare experience, she collaboratively develops treatment plans tailored to individual needs, believing in the inherent ability of individuals to effect positive change and aiming to provide them with the skills and empowerment to do so. Dr. Durand specializes in treating chronic pain, trauma and neurodivergence and is EMDR trained, having worked with diverse demographics, including first responders, healthcare workers, and veterans.
